Stay healthy this flu season

Since 1990, each fall VNA has been bringing its popular Flu Shot Program to thousands of community members throughout Kane, Kendall, DeKalb, DuPage, McHenry, Lake, Will and Cook counties.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, anyone who wants to decrease their risk of influenza should get vaccinated. Those at high risk for complications from influenza include:

Children aged 6–59 months of age
Pregnant women
People 50 years of age and older
People of any age with certain chronic medical conditions
People who live in nursing homes and other long-term care facilities
